CALAVERAS COUNTY INDEX TO DEATH RECORDS DISCONTINUED IN FROGHORN
The CGS Board has opted to discontinue printing the alphabetical index to death records in it's newsletter, The Froghorn.  If you wish to see the complete list, one copy has been printed and placed in the Genealogy Section of the Calaveras Public Library/San Andreas, CA for everyone to view.  The library copy may give birth location, death location, parent's name, burial location, source of information, etc.  Sometimes a name is listed twice. That is because there is more than one source for the information.  Each source may have a little different information.  The list also includes inscriptions from tombstones showing space reserved for a spouse.
