The Calaveras Genealogy Society can help you with some of the questions you may have about your pioneering Calaveras County ancestors.

You will be contacted by e-mail on what has been found. If you need actual death certificates you will need to get them from the county recorder. Deeds, probates and other documents are stored at the county archives and they charge a fee to research this type of information plus the copy fee of 25cents per page the archives charges.  You can e-mail a volunteer directly by clicking HERE.
