The Calaveras Genealogy Society can help you with some of the questions you may have about your pioneering Calaveras County ancestors. Just fill out the form below and submit it and a volunteer will respond with any information they can find.
Fill out this form with your contact info and put in the COMMENTS section anything you know about the ancestor you are searching for and a volunteer will try to help you. Include dates, spouses and the event you are searching for such as marriage, death etc. We can check county indexes for marriage, death, divorce and births. You will be contacted by e-mail on what has been found. You can also reach a Genealogy Society volunteer directly by clicking HERE.
If you need actual death certificates you will need to get them from the county recorder. Deeds, probates, old newspapers and other important research documents are stored at the county archives. You can contact them at 209 754-3918. They charge a fee of $10 per hour to research this type of information. |
